Card Holder
As a family, we have tried many board games during our family game nights. One of our favourites is a game called 'Settlers of Catan', or just 'Catan' for short. After just a few games, we quickly realized that we needed a way to hold ALL of the plethora of cards that each player 'holds' during the game...especially when the various expansion sets are being used! So, we developed this cardholder, to help ease the demand on tired hands. It also provided a suitable place to display each player's character figurine. My daughter loves helping to make these, and ended up making quite a few…after several of our friends ended up wanting some made for their own game nights!
We figured we could offer them for sale on a wider scale, and share our love of the Catan board game with many others, though it is certainly possible to use these with other card games as well!

Features:
Solid construction. Each cardholder is constructed from Nova Scotia grown pine softwood, which can be stained, or even painted, to your preference.
Felted bottom, in the color of your choice (we each have our favorite color of pieces that we use during the game, right?). It also helps keep the cardholder from scratching your tabletop!
Layered, & angled card slots, allowing many cards to be displayed for the user, yet kept safely away from prying eyes! You can even fit the larger Victory Point Cards, like ‘The Longest Road’ in the slots.
Victory Point 'flags'. Each cardholder comes with 12 flags (color of your choice), that allows you to proudly display your victory point total while playing the game. Note that there are many extra holes, allowing more flags to be displayed if a larger victory point total is agreed upon for your games. Extra flags are sold separately.
Place holder for character figurines. Each cardholder has an area on the base that can be used to display each player's very own character figurine (sold separately). We've had a LOT of fun with this, and found that it provided another layer of pure enjoyment to our games. Sometimes the turns seem to drag on for an eternity, and these additional elements gave us some eye candy to make the wait less arduous. They also allowed us to express our individual personalities in fun ways!
